 TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Mobicred April 2024 “Mr D x Mobicred Competition”   

1. This competition is organised by Mobicred (Registration No. 2012/163391/07  NCR 10896)  (“The Promoter”) 

2. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.

3. Competition period: The competition commences on 11 April 2024 and will terminate on 30 April 2024.

4. The Prize: One of 10 (ten) Mr D grocery coupons to the value of R2 000 (two thousand rand) each. 

5. Service to which competition relates: Valid Mobicred purchase on the Mr D App. 

6. How to qualify:

● The customer must have a Mobicred account in good standing. 

● The customer must have a valid Mr D account.      

● The customer needs to make a successful purchase using their Mobicred account on Mr D within the competition period, on one of the announced competition days. 

● The transaction must take place on the selected days from 9am – 12am on the Mr D app only. The days on which to qualify will be announced via Mobicred’s social media channels before 9am. 

● There is no minimum spend requirement. 

● The transaction will result in automatic entry to win. 

● Each qualifying transaction will be counted as one valid entry to the draw of the winner. 

● Should the qualifying transaction be declined, cancelled or refunded on the competition day; or before the winner is drawn, the entry will be deemed null and void.  

● A customer may not win more than once within the competition  period. Any transactions made by a selected winner following the receipt of their prize will not be considered entry into the next draw. 

7. Prize fulfilment: 

● The winner will be determined by a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Mobicred, which judge/s may be employees of Mobicred.

● Winners will be selected per the below schedule within the competition period and announced on the next business day: 

● The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. This competition prize cannot be granted in conjunction with any other promotional offers by Mobicred within the promotion period. 

● The prize will be fulfilled and delivered by Mobicred  upon determination of the valid winners. Each winner will receive a R2000 Mr D grocery voucher which will be provided by the Mobicred team within 3 working days of being selected. 

8. Competition notification: 

● Winners will be chosen the business day following a competition entry day per the schedule in clause 7.      

● Winners will be announced via Mobicred’s Social Media channels and will be contacted by the Mobicred Team via email and/or SMS and/or phone call.

● A selected Winner will be granted 3 working days in which to make contact with Mobicred to claim their prize. Should the Winner fail to do so; the prize will be forfeited and another Winner will be selected. 

9. Limitations: 

● A selected winner may not win again within the competition period. Once a winner has been selected once, any future entries into the competition will not be considered. 

● The Competition is not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of the Promoter, any consultant to Promoter, as well as any family members of Promoter’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by the Promoter.

•  No Prize will be awarded to any person to whom such Prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 years.

10. Customer responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the personal contact details captured on the Mobicred and Mr D database system is complete, accurate and up to date.

11. Customer Undertaking: Customer acknowledges that he/she shall only receive the Prize upon fulfilment of the criteria contained in clause 6 and 7.

12. Disclaimer: The Promoter, its associated companies, agents and service providers/co-promoters involved in the competition assumes no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, and/or any other claims arising in connection with this promotional offer.

13. System Failure: The Promoter will not be responsible for loss, delayed and/or misdirected electronic messages, internet of computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond control of the promoters, which may cause the entry into the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.

14. Cancellation: The Promoter reserve the right to, in sole discretion, to cancel, extend or suspend this competition. If so, and to the extent permitted by law, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse in such event against the Promoter, its associated companies, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors and/or co-promoter.

15. The participant understands and accepts that, during its engagement with Mobicred, Mobicred may collect and process personally identifiable information about the entrant to allow the entrant to enter the competition, or in relation to, the entrants engagement by Mobicred, including all documents and information required to be furnished by the entrant and Mobicred from time to time. Such processing of information will be in line with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPI”).
