 TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Mobicred April 2024 “Mr D x Mobicred Competition”   

1. This competition is organised by Mobicred (Registration No. 2012/163391/07  NCR 10896)  (“The Promoter”) 

2. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.

3. Competition period: The competition commences on 11 April 2024 and will terminate on 30 April 2024.

4. The Prize: One of 10 (ten) Mr D grocery coupons to the value of R2 000 (two thousand rand) each. 

5. Service to which competition relates: Valid Mobicred purchase on the Mr D App. 

6. How to qualify:

● The customer must have a Mobicred account in good standing. 

● The customer must have a valid Mr D account.      

● The customer needs to make a successful purchase using their Mobicred account on Mr D within the competition period, on one of the announced competition days. 

● The transaction must take place on the selected days from 9am – 12am on the Mr D app only. The days on which to qualify will be announced via Mobicred’s social media channels before 9am. 

● There is no minimum spend requirement. 

● The transaction will result in automatic entry to win. 

● Each qualifying transaction will be counted as one valid entry to the draw of the winner. 

● Should the qualifying transaction be declined, cancelled or refunded on the competition day; or before the winner is drawn, the entry will be deemed null and void.  

● A customer may not win more than once within the competition  period. Any transactions made by a selected winner following the receipt of their prize will not be considered entry into the next draw. 

7. Prize fulfilment: 

● The winner will be determined by a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Mobicred, which judge/s may be employees of Mobicred.

● Winners will be selected per the below schedule within the competition period and announced on the next business day: 

● The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. This competition prize cannot be granted in conjunction with any other promotional offers by Mobicred within the promotion period. 

● The prize will be fulfilled and delivered by Mobicred  upon determination of the valid winners. Each winner will receive a R2000 Mr D grocery voucher which will be provided by the Mobicred team within 3 working days of being selected. 

8. Competition notification: 

● Winners will be chosen the business day following a competition entry day per the schedule in clause 7.      

● Winners will be announced via Mobicred’s Social Media channels and will be contacted by the Mobicred Team via email and/or SMS and/or phone call.

● A selected Winner will be granted 3 working days in which to make contact with Mobicred to claim their prize. Should the Winner fail to do so; the prize will be forfeited and another Winner will be selected. 

9. Limitations: 

● A selected winner may not win again within the competition period. Once a winner has been selected once, any future entries into the competition will not be considered. 

● The Competition is not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of the Promoter, any consultant to Promoter, as well as any family members of Promoter’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by the Promoter.

•  No Prize will be awarded to any person to whom such Prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 years.

10. Customer responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the personal contact details captured on the Mobicred and Mr D database system is complete, accurate and up to date.

11. Customer Undertaking: Customer acknowledges that he/she shall only receive the Prize upon fulfilment of the criteria contained in clause 6 and 7.

12. Disclaimer: The Promoter, its associated companies, agents and service providers/co-promoters involved in the competition assumes no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, and/or any other claims arising in connection with this promotional offer.

13. System Failure: The Promoter will not be responsible for loss, delayed and/or misdirected electronic messages, internet of computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond control of the promoters, which may cause the entry into the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.

14. Cancellation: The Promoter reserve the right to, in sole discretion, to cancel, extend or suspend this competition. If so, and to the extent permitted by law, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse in such event against the Promoter, its associated companies, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors and/or co-promoter.

15. The participant understands and accepts that, during its engagement with Mobicred, Mobicred may collect and process personally identifiable information about the entrant to allow the entrant to enter the competition, or in relation to, the entrants engagement by Mobicred, including all documents and information required to be furnished by the entrant and Mobicred from time to time. Such processing of information will be in line with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPI”).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS “ Mobicred June 2024 Computicket x Mobicred Competition   

This competition is organised by Mobicred (Registration No. 2012/163391/07 NCR 10896) and Computicket (Registration No. 1971/003946/07) ("The Promoters") 

1. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.

2. Competition period: The competition commences on 18 June 2024 and will terminate on 5 July 2024.

3. The Prize: Shop with Computicket and Mobicred and stand a chance to be ONE lucky winner of a 2-day staycation of your choice to the maximum value of R5000.

4. Service to which competition relates: Valid Mobicred purchase on the Computicket website (https://computicket.com) within the competition period, to the value of R500 or more. 

5. How to qualify:

- To qualify, the customer must have a Mobicred account in good standing. 

- The customer needs to make a successful purchase using their Mobicred account on the Computicket website within the competition period. 

- There is a R500 minimum spend requirement. 

- The transaction will result in automatic entry to win. 

- Each qualifying transaction will be counted as one valid entry to the draw of the winner. 

- Should the qualifying transaction be declined, cancelled or refunded within the competition period; or before the winner is drawn, this shall be deemed an unsuccessful purchase and the automatic entry will be deemed null and void.  

6. Prize fulfilment: 

- The winner will be determined by a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Mobicred, which judge/s may be employees of Mobicred.

- The winner will be selected per the below schedule at the end of competition period and contacted on the next working day: 

Dates on which valid transactions will qualify for entry: 18 June - 5 July 2024 

Date upon which Winner will be selected: 8 July 2024 

Number of winners to be selected:  1

- The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. This competition prize cannot be granted in conjunction with any other promotional offers by Mobicred within the competition period. 

- The prize will be fulfilled and delivered by Mobicred upon determination of the valid winner. The winner will be allowed to choose any 2 (two)day accommodation from the Computicket website up to the maximum value of R5000 (five thousand Rand), whereby Mobicred will secure the chosen accommodation on their behalf, subject to the terms and availability of the provider and Computicket. If the winner chooses a package or booking to the value of less than R5000, the winner forfeits the remaining prize value.  Should the winner choose a package or booking to the value of more than R5000, Mobicred will not be liable for the outstanding balance and shall only pay the maximum value of R5000 (five thousand Rand)

- The winner must select their accommodation choice within 60 calendar days of notification of winning. Should the winner fail to indicate to Mobicred the selected accommodation before 60 days have passed, the Winner will forfeit the prize. 

7. Competition notification: 

- Winners will be chosen per the schedule in clause 6.

- Winner will be contacted by  Mobicred  via email and/or SMS and/or phone call. Mobicred shall attempt to contact the winner no less than 3 (three) times.

- The selected Winner will be granted 3 working days in which to contact Mobicred to claim their prize. Should the Winner fail to do so; the prize will be forfeited, and another qualifying Winner will be selected on 11 July 2024.

8. Limitations: 

- The Competition is not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of the Promoter, any consultant to Promoter, as well as any family members of Promoter’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by the Promoter.

- No Prize will be awarded to any person to whom such Prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 years.

14. Processing of Personal Information and Entrant Consent

a. The entrant's privacy is very important to the Promoter, and it will use reasonable efforts to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by the entrant, or which is collected from the entrant, is stored in a secure manner. 

b. The entrant agrees to give (where applicable) honest, accurate and current information about the entrant to the Promoter and to maintain and update such information when necessary. 

c. The entrant's personal information collected by the Promoter may be used for the following reasons: 

i. the processing of personal information on the Promoter's website; 

ii. further processing by third parties, including the fact that related parties of the company may access information on the Promoter's website; 

iii. direct marketing; 

iv. fraud prevention; and

v. SARB and SARS reporting and the like if applicable.

d. The entrant acknowledges that any information supplied to the Promoter is provided voluntarily. 

e. By submitting any information to the Promoter in any form the entrant further acknowledges that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by the Promoter under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from the entrant, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law. 

f. Unless the entrant has consented, Promoter will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about the entrant (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to other parties and the entrant indemnifies the Promoter from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons. 

g. Should the entrant believe that the Promoter has utilized the entrant's personal information contrary to applicable law, the entrant shall first resolve any concerns with the Promoter. If the entrant is not satisfied with such process, the entrant has the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

16. Any provision of these terms and conditions or the Competition which is held to be invalid or unenforceable shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability without invalidating or rendering unenforceable the remaining provisions thereof.
